YakiMIX - Greenbelt 3

YakiMIX - Sushi, Smokeless Grill, Restaurant
Yakimix There is only one way that I can describe this place: “The Mother of all Eat-All-You-Can Restaurants”. Situated at the 3rd Floor of Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center, at Makati City, Yakimix has the best Buffet Setup that I have ever seen so far. They offer a wide selection of Cantonese, Korean, and Japanese Cuisine that is either “ready to eat”, “ready to grill”, or “ready to be boiled” (Shabu Shabu). They also have a Sushi Bar and a Desert & Salad Bar. Their regular price is Php580.00 per head and Php380.00 per head for children below 4 feet, but during lunch hours every Monday to Friday, the price is just Php499.00 per head, except on public holidays.

My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate our 1st Anniversary and also our Christmas Eve last 2010 at YakiMIX for a romantic “eat-until-your-tummy-aches” experience. We waited until the store was opened for its evening buffet at around 5:30pm so that we could treat this as our “Noche Buena”. Upon arrival at the entrance, the lady receptionist asked us if it was a table for two and immediately escorted us to our table that was fully equipped with their signature Smokeless Grill. As she was escorting us to our table, she shouted some Japanese words and the entire staff of YakiMIX responded in Japanese! Even if we couldn’t understand a word that they have said, it made us feel very welcomed in that place.

The Smokeless Grill
You can already tell just by looking at their “ready to grill” buffet that they only serve quality and fresh chicken, pork, beef, sea foods, and vegetables. Since most of meat was already season to taste, you just have to grill it. Cooking our food in their Smokeless Grill was definitely fun and exciting but eating them was the best part. As it turned out, the grilled meat and vegetables were fantastic!

We also enjoyed their “ready to eat” buffet. They served dishes that were neither oily nor fatty, unlike other buffet restaurants that I have been so far. Their dishes were light in the tummy, delicious yet healthy, colorful and pleasing to the eyes, and are really fun to eat. Their Sushi Bar was also great. They offer a wide selection of Sushi ranging from the most common to the most expensive variants. The best part of it is that you can have as much of the expensive variants as you want!

Pastries at the Desert Bar
YakiMIX also has a wonderful Desert & Salad Bar which is a sure favorite for the Kids and also for the Kids at Heart. They offer a wide selection of salads, pastries, cakes, and chocolates. Almost all of my favorite desserts are in here! From blue berry cheese cakes to strawberry short cakes, Leche flans, Red Ribbon cakes, brownies, tarts, and lots of fresh garden salad ingredients and delectable fruit slices. The best thing about their Desert Bar is the Ice Cream Section where you could get as many servings as you can and garnish it with your favorite toppings!

For me, dining at YakiMIX was one of the best ways to spend a very special day with your friends and loved ones. From their excellent food, to the appetizing and wonderful ambience, not to mention the courteous and hospitable staffs, everything about YakiMIX is something that I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in search for the ultimate “EAT-ALL-YOU-CAN” experience.
